Forever Family Designs is live!

The Forever Family Designs website is now live! If you haven't heard about it, I've teamed up with a good friend to create a company offering creative resources to adoptive families. Go check it out, and spread the word to anyone you know who might be adopting. Our one goal is to make what can be a long and stressful process a little bit easier!

What an incredible season this has been! In five weeks, I have successfully designed and launched two websites, built a 64 page full color, glossy magazine from the ground up, spent four days at an incredible photography convention in Las Vegas... all while still working 40 hours a week and only calling in sick twice. Man, God is so faithful! And His provision is astounding--this website was provided free to us on behalf of Blu Domain, thanks to a giveaway contest they hosted at Christmas!

This has been a fabulous Monday!

Celebrating Adoption with Free Portraits!

If you haven't heard of it, there's a fabulous website out there called CelebratingAdoption.org. The vision started with a single photographer out of Phoenix who did a session for a family seeking to adopt a child. From that session, her work with adoptive families turned into a national organization of photographers offering a limited number of free portrait sessions per month for families who have adopted in the last year. You can visit the site and download a pdf list of all photographers who have partnered with Celebrating Adoption. I've added Ethni Photography to the list, and an updated list will be on their site soon.

In the meantime, if you have added to your family through adoption in Central Oregon in the last year, or know of someone who has or is thinking about it, please contact me. I would like to give your family a free session in celebration of your decision! Also, the portraits of the families who respond to this post will be featured on the new Forever Family Designs website coming soon (with a signed model release, of course.)

Looking forward to hearing your unique stories and rejoicing with you!
