When I walked into this little guy's house to meet him for the first time, he was sitting on the couch with his daddy as if he had always been there. There's something so interesting about going to a couple's house who just had their first baby. Having been there before pre-baby, it's always so interesting to me that every time, it feels so... right.
Cade was all decked out for our shoot together, greeting me in an adorable onesie with a hand-stitched giraffe on the front, and the perfect brown pants to match. As I borrowed him from Dad, he looked at me, and we vibed. He was ready for his debut as a high-fashion model. After all, aren't the most cutting edge models half-nude?
For an hour, Mom and I propped, stuffed, curled, and folded his little body to our hearts content as he slept away. I'd love to say we made it through the whole session without a piddle accident, and we were so very close. Just when I got the very last shot, the fountain went off. Maybe he was just so excited we were finally done with him that he couldn't contain himself. When I was young, I had a dachshund that would piddle when she got too excited. But that's another story for another day. Today, enjoy Cade's introduction story in his own words.
Cade, thank you for being the perfect little model. I couldn't have asked for anyone better.
