Neighborhood Photographer

Well we did it. We bit the bullet and *finally* bought me a new camera. I was only expecting a camera body and lens but what I ended up getting was beyond expectation! Not just a camera--but 4 lenses, an aluminum briefcase with places for everything, plus a soft carrying case and other accessories! Excited doesn't even begin to cover it! And to make sure it gets tons of use ASAP, I put together a postcard to advertise myself in our neighborhood. Since you have to be known before you can use the wonderful word-of-mouth marketing, I thought I'd take advantage of the upcoming holidays and advertise a special Christmas package. Everyone wants convenience--especially people with kids. So I am playing with the headline "Did you know a photographer lives in your neighborhood? How's that for convenience?" It turned out kind of fun--now I wait for the business to roll in so that I can pay that camera off!

Jane! I'm so excited for you! This looks wonderful!! You'll have your new toys paid off in no time! :) Let me know that next time you're in town. I'd love to get together. I just have 2 more insane weeks left before my schedule finally slows down! Yay! Hugs. :) B

Janelle,
Congrats on the new tools! Are you planning to be over this way again anytime soon? We'd be interested in your holiday card deal. :)

Take care,
Amy
